You don’t know who you are anymore.
You aren’t exactly sure when it happened, but you lost who you were somewhere along the way. Maybe it was a break-up or a job change, but something set you back.
Going through a life-changing event can break you down. Most of the time, loss of self-esteem happens slowly over time without you even noticing. But suddenly, you realize that something has changed with how you view yourself.
Whatever the cause, that inner voice keeps telling you that you are unworthy, causing you to think negatively about yourself. And those negative thoughts lower your self-esteem even more.
Low self-esteem brings down your confidence.
You keep comparing yourself to everyone around you. You can’t help but think that others have it better, are more successful and are happier than you. In every aspect of your life, you can’t help but also think about their lives.
Being with friends only makes you think less of yourself. It’s hard to converse for fear of looking unintelligent or saying the wrong thing.
Worrying is now part of your life, and struggles with personal issues become an obsession.
No matter what you tell yourself, you can’t help but think that you aren’t good enough. But you are!
Low self-esteem is not about them – it’s about you.
Regaining self-esteem is about finding those pieces of yourself that you love and honoring them. It’s about gaining confidence, being sure of yourself and taking the time to process everything you have gone through to become who you want to be.
My role is to work with you to help rekindle those positive aspects of your life and learn to assess and challenge the negative comments your inner voice keeps telling you.
You are unique and need to learn to focus on your strengths rather than comparing yourself to others. We can work together to reaffirm those positive aspects that emphasize who you are.
Together, we can re-discover all the fantastic things about you so that you are ready to confidently move through the world and build a bold, brave life.
Take the first step to help yourself.
